Elisavet Filippouli

Elisavet Filippouli is a journalist specializing in international current affairs and interviews. Over her fifteen-year career, she has worked across all media types (television, newspapers, magazines, radio) and collaborates with the international television network CNN. Her work frequently takes her abroad, providing her the opportunity to interview prominent figures such as Jimmy Carter, Javier Solana, Ted Turner, Kofi Annan, Al Gore, James Rubin, Peter Arnett, Susan Sarandon, Christiane Amanpour, Sheikh Omar bin Bakri, among others. She studied German Philology at the University of Athens and International Relations at Panteion University. She is a member of the Journalists’ Union of the Athens Daily Newspapers and the International Federation of Journalists. However, she believes that it is not credentials that make a journalist, but rather the curiosity and love for the world around us.
