Eleni Griva

Eleni A. Griva is an Associate Professor in the Department of Primary Education at the University of Western Macedonia. She is also the coordinator of the thematic unit "Testing and Assessment in Language Learning" (AGG65) in the postgraduate program of the School of Humanities at the Hellenic Open University. Her research and teaching in undergraduate and postgraduate programs focus on the following areas: second/foreign language teaching, bilingualism/multilingualism and education, bilingualism/multilingualism and learning, teaching Greek as a second/foreign language, language policy issues, language development and communication strategies, formal and alternative forms of language skills assessment, and content and language integrated learning. She participates in various research projects and is a member of editorial boards and a reviewer for many esteemed international scientific journals. She has authored four books and published over 140 papers in international and Greek scientific journals, conference proceedings, and collective volumes.
