Annamaria Lilla Mariotti

Annamaria "Lila" Mariotti was born in Camogli near Genoa, where she currently resides and works. She writes stories and myths connected to the sea. She contributes to "American Lighthouse Digest" and other magazines and delivers speeches at conferences in Italy and the United States during her frequent visits there, promoting the CD-ROM she created titled "The Lighthouse, a Light Through Time and History." In July 2002, a well-known Italian newspaper referred to her as the "Italian lighthouse expert." She has been repeatedly interviewed on radio and television.
