Georgia A. Lazakidou

Georgia A. Lazakidou was born in Ptolemaida (Kozani Prefecture). She holds a Ph.D. from the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus. She studied at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Athens (1989-1993) and furthered her education at the "Alexandros Delmouzos" Teacher Training Institute in Rhodes. Her research interests include e-learning and the utilization of ICT in education. She serves on the editorial boards of scientific journals such as SICET and the International Journal of Technology in Teaching and Learning, among others. She has published scientific work and participated in various research and development projects. She is a member of the Advanced Learning Technologies and Culture research group, CoSyLLab, in the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus.
