Maria Vakola

Maria Vakola is an organizational psychologist and works as a lecturer at the Athens University of Economics and Business. She received her PhD from the University of Salford and her master's degree from UMIST in the United Kingdom, where she also worked as a lecturer for several years. She has presented and published articles at international conferences and journals in the field of change management. She serves as a reviewer for international scientific journals and conferences and is a member of the Academy of Management. At the Athens University of Economics and Business, she teaches courses on change management and human resource management to undergraduate and postgraduate students, as well as to business executives. For her teaching contributions, she has been awarded a teaching excellence award by the International MBA program of the Athens University of Economics and Business. She has also worked as a consultant, designing and implementing change and human resource management programs, the results of which she has presented in executive seminars.
