
Zampel Mouratian
Zabel Mouratian studied at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Athens and holds an MA in Museology from the same university. She attended the Getty Leadership Museum Management postgraduate seminar at the University of California, Berkeley. Since 2007, she has been the President of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Children's Museum, where she has worked for several years as an interpreter, educational program manager, and director. She has developed educational programs for museums, factories, archaeological sites, and natural monuments in Greece and Cyprus. Since 1990, she has been teaching the subject of "museum education" at the Hellenic Children's Museum, the "Dimitrios Glinos" Teachers' College of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the Marasleio Teachers' College of the University of Athens, as well as at other cultural and educational institutions. She works in public education and has participated as a trainer in the pilot implementation of the flexible zone and as an evaluator for new primary school books. She has authored scientific articles on educational programs in museums.
