Olga Tsakiridi

Dr. Olga Tsakiridi was born in 1961 in Milan, Italy. She is married and a mother of three children. She is a researcher at the National Centre for Social Research and teaches at Panteion University of Athens. She graduated with honors from the Department of Public Administration at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and earned her doctorate from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in 1992. Her work focuses on culture, cultural management, interculturality, and social exclusion, with a specialization in issues concerning native and foreign Muslims living in Greece. She has participated in scientific conferences, research projects, and collective scientific publications. Dr. Tsakiridi has taught at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens, the University of the Aegean, a postgraduate program at the University of Athens, and Panteion University. Additionally, she has served as the scientific supervisor for several seminars in Local Government. She has published articles in scientific journals both in Greece and internationally. She is the Vice President of the Scientific Group of the Panhellenic Association for the Support of Muslims in Greece "Philotita." She participates in the European Social Forum on issues of Islamophobia and racism and in anti-war committees. She is proficient in English and Italian.
