Faii A. CHani

Fay Chani was born on May 7, 1969, in Athens. She studied at the Department of Early Childhood Education at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. She has worked as a kindergarten teacher since 1994 in private daycare centers and kindergartens, and since 2000 in public education. In parallel, she collaborated with the National Book Center of Greece (EKEBI) from 1994 to 1999, presenting "The Blue Line Fairy Tales" at book fairs and actively participating in the implementation of the "With a Book I Fly" program. She has been involved in children's book presentations, always accompanied by crafts—small journeys into the world of visual arts. Since 1999, she has been collaborating with the Municipality of Petroupoli, organizing and implementing art programs for the "Creative Engagement Workshop" aimed at preschool and early school-age children. She contributes to the bimonthly educational magazine "Window to Children's Education," published by Orion, in the crafts column. She teaches technical and visual arts education at a public Institute of Vocational Training (IEK), specializing in preschool education—activities of creation and expression.
