
CHara Konstantinidi
Chara Konstantinidi was born in Athens. She studied at the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens and at the University of Aachen. She is an assistant professor in the Department of History and Archaeology at the University of Athens. She participated in excavations conducted by Professors Dimitrios Pallas and Nikolaos Drandakis. She was involved in the research of Byzantine monuments in Laconian - Messenian Mani and Epidaurus Limira under the supervision of Professor N. Drandakis.
In 1991, she defended her doctoral dissertation at the School of Philosophy at the University of Athens, titled "The Melismos: The Co-celebrating Hierarchs in Front of the Holy Altar with the Sacred Gifts or the Eucharistic Christ."
Her monograph "The Church of Faneromeni in Frangoulianika of Mesa Mani" was published in 1998 by Laconian Studies (Appendix 2). She has published studies on Byzantine art in collective works and scientific journals. She has participated in Greek and international scientific conferences with presentations.
