Nikos P. CHidiroglou

Nikos Chidiroglou is a journalist with extensive experience in daily newspapers, television, radio, and the specialized press. He was born in Germany in 1969 and is the son of Pavlos Chidiroglou, an expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and former professor of Turkology at the Ionian University, and Maria de Jesus Ferreira, a Portuguese literary translator. He completed his secondary education at the 1st Lyceum of Palaio Faliro and studied Political Science at the University of Essex in the United Kingdom. He has worked as a journalist for "Akropolis," "Metrorama," ANT1 Radio, Epikinonies AE, Macedonia TV, and TV Piraeus. He has been a member of the New Democracy party since 1984 and served as the party's Organizational Sector Head in 2000.
