CHrysostomos Stamoulis

Chrysostomos Stamoulis was born in 1964 in Afytos, Halkidiki. He studied Theology at the universities of Thessaloniki, Belgrade, and Durham, England. In 1989, he earned his Ph.D. in Theology from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (A.U.Th.). Today, he is an assistant professor in the Department of Theology at A.U.Th., where he teaches Dogmatic and Symbolic Theology and the Philokalic Aesthetics of Orthodoxy. He has authored a series of books and articles. He pursued music studies at the Macedonian and State Conservatories of Thessaloniki. He directs the Youth Choir and Orchestra "Saint John Chrysostom" in Thessaloniki. He has collaborated with renowned composers, conductors, and singers from Greece and abroad. In 1998, he released his first album titled "Litai Gate." Recently, he completed the music for the film "The Steps of Apostle Paul in Greece" (2000) and the documentary "Cappadocia" (2002).
