
Aris Spiliotopoulos
- Born in October 1966.
- Graduated from the Department of Political Science and Public Administration at the University of Athens (1985 - 1989).
- Completed postgraduate studies in the Department of Political Communication at CITY University of London, earning a Master's degree in Political Communication and Mass Media (1990 - 1992). Master's thesis title: "Political Communication and Advertising of Greek Political Parties in the Three Electoral Contests of 1989 - 1990."
- PhD candidate in the Department of Mass Media at the University of Athens.
- Awarded by the State Scholarships Foundation.
- Speaker on communication topics at the NATO Educational Committee conference in Berlin (1990).
- Served as a representative of the Student Association at the University of Athens (1985 - 1989).
- Member of MAKI, ONNED, and New Democracy.
- Speaks and writes English and Italian.
- Taught Political Communication, specialized Communication topics, Political Science, and Market Research at the Department of Journalism and Marketing at the European Educational Organization (1992 - 1993).
- Participated in numerous scientific conferences in Greece and abroad.
- Articles have been published in various newspapers and magazines.
- Served as Director of the Secretariat for Political Planning, Communication, and Ideology of New Democracy (1994 - 1996).
- Appointed as the Spokesperson for New Democracy (April 1997).
- Elected as a Member of Parliament through the Statewide List in the elections of April 9, 2000.
