
Andriana A. Prentza
Andriana Prentza is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Digital Systems at the University of Piraeus. She studied Computer Engineering & Informatics at the University of Patras and then obtained a Master's degree in Biomedical Technology from the Interdepartmental Postgraduate Program of NTUA and the University of Patras, as well as a Ph.D. from Eindhoven University of Technology in the Netherlands. She has served for several years as a Scientific Collaborator at the Biomedical Technology Laboratory of NTUA and as a Researcher at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS). Her current scientific interests include network-centric health information systems, software technology, knowledge management, and ICT applications in healthcare. She has an extensive publication record (over 70 papers) and has participated in numerous research and development projects. She is an evaluator/expert for the European Commission and national programs. She is a Senior Member of IEEE.
