Olga I. Imellou

Olga I. Imellou studied Education, Special Education, and Occupational Therapy. As a scholarship recipient from the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY), she earned her Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University of Athens, graduating with unanimous distinction, in the field of learning difficulties. Her research interests include activities such as participating in the development and standardization of the Athena Test for the Diagnosis of Learning Difficulties and assessing the needs of Creative Activity Centers for Children (K.D.A.P.). She has presented her work at numerous conferences in Greece and abroad and has published articles, research, and studies in reputable scientific journals. She has been teaching in private and public general and special education schools for over fifteen years. Since 2002, she has been teaching in the Special Education Department at the Marasleio School of Primary Education and is part of the scientific team for the Operational Program for Education and Initial Vocational Training (E.P.E.A.E.K.), focusing on "Improving the conditions for the integration of individuals with multiple disabilities into the educational system." She serves as the liaison for the Enabling Education Network (EENET) in Greece.
