
Dafni Filippou
Daphne Philippou was born in Komotini. She is a social worker, psychotherapist, and assistant professor in the Department of Social Work at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. She studied social work in Athens and Paris. She specialized in psychiatric social work, group facilitation, and training techniques. For twenty years, she worked in psychiatric settings in Greece and France. Throughout her professional career, she has simultaneously been a group facilitator and a trainer for students and professionals. Her training in psychotherapy began with psychoanalysis and evolved into the person-centered approach and Gestalt therapy. Her recent professional interests focus on experiential training for professionals in communication, therapeutic relationships, and group facilitation.
