Dimitris N. Moschos

Dimitris Moschos was born in 1964 in Athens. He studied theology in Athens and pursued further studies in theology and Byzantine studies at the Universities of Erlangen and Munich (1988-1992). In 1994, he was awarded the title of Magister Artium in Byzantine Studies from the University of Munich, and in 1995, he earned his Doctorate in Theology from the University of Athens. In 2007, he became a Habilitated Doctor in Church History at the University of Rostock. He served as a theology professor in secondary education from 1992 to 2007. In 2007, he was appointed Lecturer in the Department of Theology at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Athens, specializing in General Church History. He is also a visiting professor at the Faculty of Theology at the University of Rostock and a member of the editorial board of the journal "Synaxi."
