Anastasios Stalikas

Anastasios Stalikas was born in Thessaloniki. He studied psychology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada. He completed his graduate and doctoral studies in clinical psychology at the University of Ottawa in Canada. He served as an associate professor in the Department of Educational and Counselling Psychology at McGill University. Since 1998, he has been working in the Department of Psychology at Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences, where he is a professor and director of the Graduate Program. He has served as the associate editor of the journal Psychology and co-coordinator of the clinical and positive psychology divisions of the Hellenic Psychological Society. He is the founder and president of the Hellenic Society of Positive Psychology, the only scientific body for Positive Psychology in Greece. He has published more than 12 books, 60 chapters in collective volumes, and over 150 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals. His research interests stem from the field of clinical psychology and, for the past two decades, have been under the umbrella of Positive Psychology.
