Lina Saisana

Lina Saisana has worked as a tour guide, journalist-editor-in-chief for the magazines Hotel & Restaurant and Computer Age, and as a columnist for the magazines Prosopa, Ena, Klik, and Tachydromos. She has also been a screenwriter for television campaigns with social content. As a journalist, her notable achievements include meeting Ayatollah Khomeini in Tehran in 1988—Saisana and Oriana Fallaci were the only non-Muslim journalists to meet him—and interviewing the Dalai Lama. She also served as an ambassador for the Indigenous Pre-Columbian Tribes of Mexico at the United Nations, where she successfully advocated for the return of Moctezuma's crown to the Aztec people from the Vienna Museum. Since 1992, she has been working in the publishing sector as a translator, primarily of Osho's books for Rebel Editions. Since 2013, she has been a consultant for American screenwriters and graduate students in Creative Writing at Columbia and Yale Universities.
