
Arthur I. Miller
Arthur I. Miller taught theoretical physics at City College of New York and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is currently a Professor of History and Philosophy of Science at University College London. He is a Fellow of the American Physical Society, a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society, a member of the International Academy of the History of Science, and has been honored with numerous awards and distinctions, including the John Simon Guggenheim Memorial Fellowship. His book "Einstein, Picasso: Space, Time and Beauty" was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in 2002 and achieved record sales in Greece, remaining on the bestseller list (Kathimerini newspaper) for nearly 40 weeks. He has appeared on numerous television and radio programs, such as Nova, The Late Show, and In Our Time, and has extensively taught and written about the history and philosophy of modern science, cognitive sciences, scientific creativity, and the relationship between art and science.
