Nina Agelidou

Nina Angelidou was born in Athens in 1934. From 1954 until 2000—when she returned to Athens—she lived in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has translated into Spanish works by Elytis, Cavafy, Ritsos, Dimoula, Kalokyris, and Fostieris, among others. In 2006, the Spanish government awarded her a decoration for her translation work.
