Maro Doikou - Aylidou

Doikou - Avlidou studied at the Department of Psychology and Pedagogy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She pursued postgraduate studies in psychology at Louis Pasteur University in Strasbourg, where she also earned her doctoral degree. She worked privately as a psychologist and taught at the Department of Philosophical and Social Studies at the University of Crete and the Department of Early Childhood Care at the Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki. Since 1995, she has been a lecturer in the Pedagogy Sector of the Department of Philosophy and Pedagogy at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Her scientific work focuses on special education, particularly on learning difficulties, visual impairment, and the educational and social inclusion of children with special educational needs.
