Patrina Paparrigopoulou - Pechlivanidi

Patrina Paparrigopoulou - Pechlivanidi was born in Athens in 1962. She is married to Pantelis M. Pechlivanidis and they have two children. She holds degrees in Law and Political Science-Public Administration from the University of Athens. In 1984, she received a postgraduate degree, D.E.A in Public Law (Diplome d' Etudes Approfondies de Droit Public) from the University of Paris II, and in 1990, a Doctorate from the University of Paris I Pantheon-Sorbonne. She speaks French, English, and Italian. She is a lawyer in Athens (admitted to the Supreme Court) with legal experience primarily in administrative, social security, and labor law. She has worked as a legal advisor for corporations and the insurance organization T.A.T.T.A. She served as a Special Advisor to the Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Insurance. In 2002, she participated in the scientific processing of Law 3029/02 as a member of the Committee of the Law School of the University of Athens. She is a specialist scientist with the equivalent rank of Lecturer at the Law School of the University of Athens in Social Security Law.
