Konstantinos D. Filis

Dr. Konstantinos Filis is the Director of Research at the Institute of International Relations and the head of the Russia-Eurasia & Southeast Europe sector of the Institute of International Relations. He served as a Senior Associate Member (SAM) at St. Antony’s College, University of Oxford (2007-2009), a researcher at the Southeast European Studies Centre (SEESOX) at the University of Oxford (2008-2010), director of the Project Management Team of the Ministry of Energy with a focus on energy diplomacy (2013-2015), and a member of the Security Studies Center Committee, which examines threats to national security from forms of radicalism. He teaches in postgraduate programs at universities, at the Naval Staff Officers School, and in the National Defense School program as an external associate. He has published a series of studies and collaborates with public and private entities and multinational companies. He is a member of the Greek-Turkish Forum and a Corresponding Member of the Institute of Energy for Southeast Europe.
