Panagiotis D. Alexopoulos

Panagiotis Alexopoulos works as a lecturer at the University of the Peloponnese in the Department of Sports Organization and Management in Sparta. From June 2001 to April 2006, following a competition, he provided his consulting services to OPAP S.A. as a business consultant for sports-related matters. Since 2006, he has been offering his consulting services in strategy and performance, as well as marketing for the organization and promotion of the game "Pame Stoixima" at OPAP International S.A., based in Cyprus. He graduated in 1985 from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with a degree in Physical Education and Sports. He pursued postgraduate and doctoral studies in England and Romania. He holds a FIFA Football Manager (Players' Agent) diploma and is a first-category coach. He has authored five books on the science of football and published at least 15 scientific articles in international and Greek scientific journals and conferences. He teaches in the postgraduate program "Organization and Management of Sports Organizations and Enterprises" in the Department of Sports Organization and Management at the University of the Peloponnese. Additionally, he is a member of the coordinating committee of the Postgraduate Studies Program of the School of Human Movement and Quality of Life Sciences. He is married and the father of two children, Ioanna and Dimitris.
