
Leo Buscaglia
Leo Buscaglia was an associate professor of social education and psychology at the University of Southern California. Of Italian descent, he was born and raised in California. He was known to millions of listeners and viewers across America who followed him in lecture halls and on television shows. Through his teachings, he developed a special seminar on love and how it can change our daily behavior. As he put it, "Love is not a path, it is participation and sharing. Living with the philosophy of love is life's greatest challenge." His most well-known books include: "Living, Loving, and Learning," "Bus 9 to Paradise," "Love," "The Way of the Bull," and "The Fall of Freddie the Leaf." He passed away from a heart attack in 1998 at the age of 74.
