Nikos Giannopoulos

Nikos Giannopoulos was born in Athens in 1973. In 1996, he graduated from the Department of History at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Ioannina. He also holds a degree from the Department of Greek Culture at the School of Humanities of the Hellenic Open University. Between 2001 and 2010, he served as editor-in-chief of the magazine "Great Battles" published by Periscope Editions and as editorial director for the publisher's monographs. He is a specialist in military history. He has authored 200 articles and nine historical books, including "How Well Do We Really Know 1940?" published by Historical Quest Editions. Today, he works as a secondary education teacher and as a consultant for the television program "Time Machine."
