
Eyagelia Eystathiou
Evangelia Efstathiou was born and raised in Piraeus. She studied at the Department of Primary Education at the University of Athens and works as a teacher in public education.
Her love for books led her to writing from a very young age, first fairy tales and later short stories.
Her first novel, "Personal Moments" (2001), immediately won the hearts of readers. This was followed by the novels "Stone Swans" (2004), "In Other Words, I Love You" (2007), "If You Ask the Wind" (2010), "After the Storm" (2011), "The Glass Rose" (2012), "Deep Velvet Darkness" (2013), "Whispers in the Flames" (2014), "The Prisoners of Shadows" (2015), "Before the Night Is Gone" (2016), "Banks and Waves" (2017), "Invisible Thread" (2018), and "The Sword" (2021), as well as the fairy tale "When Night Lost the Dawn" (2019), all published by Livani Editions.
In addition to writing, she is involved in painting and collage. She speaks English and Italian. She has a daughter, a son, and a lively Jack Russell named Luna.
