Giannis Salvaras

Giannis Salvaras is an emeritus professor at the University of Athens and a professor of Didactics at the University of Nicosia. He has worked as a teacher, school advisor, and consultant for the Pedagogical Institute, Director of teacher training schools, scientific supervisor of training programs and production of teaching materials, special advisor at the Ministry of Education, editor of curriculum programs, author of school textbooks, member of the governing board of the University of Thrace, member of the senate of the University of Athens, and vice president of the Pedagogical Society of Greece. His research and writing focus on the Theory and Methodology of Teaching and Instructional Design. His books include: "Teaching Objectives" (1996), "Language Teaching" (2000), "Learning Difficulties in Mathematics" (2005, 2006), "Models and Teaching Strategies" (2007), "Instructional Design" (2009), "Mentoring" (2011).
