B.D. Foxmoor (Michalis Mytakidis) was born in 1967 in Perama, Attica. From a young age, he began studying and collecting vinyl records from various music genres, exploring their connection to hip hop. Through music, he was led to words and subsequently to lyrics. In 1992, he founded the music group Active Member, which embarked on a unique journey of action and creativity for more than two decades. Throughout this period, Michalis Mytakidis and Active Member were pioneers, using the group as a vehicle to evolve his themes and open parallel paths with different musical projects, organizing pan-European festivals, and composing music for theater, cinema, and documentaries. He also published now-collectible fanzines, books of lyrics, and original editions with aphorisms. He hosted a radio show for many years on a major station. He collaborated with the Athens Festival for the performance "Koinos Topos" in verse, in which he also performed. He has written music and lyrics for more than 1,400 recorded songs. His lyrics have touched and been sung by at least three generations of people at concerts in Greece and abroad. More active than ever, he continues to record lyrics and music, and has recently ventured into screenwriting. With his gaze always set on distant horizons and marked by Low Bap, he strives to convey the direct and vital relationship between words and life, and vice versa.
