Tasos Kostopoulos

Tasos Kostopoulos is a journalist for "Efimerida ton Syntakton" and a member of the editorial team "O Ios." He has previously worked for "Avgi" (1985-87), the magazine "Scholiastis" (1986-90), and "Eleftherotypia" (1990-2012). He is the author of the books "The Forbidden Language: State Repression of Slavic Dialects in Greek Macedonia" (Athens 2000, published by Mavri Lista), "The Self-Censored Memory: The Security Battalions and Post-War Nationalism" (Athens 2005, published by Filistor), "War and Ethnic Cleansing: The Forgotten Side of a Decade-Long National Campaign, 1912-1922" (Athens 2007, published by Vivliorama), and "The 'Macedonian' Issue of Thrace: State Plans for the Pomaks, 1956-2008" (Athens 2009, published by Vivliorama).
