Giorgos Korras

Giorgos Korras was born in Derveni in 1948. He studied philology and history at the University of Athens and film at the Stavrakos Film School. He has worked as a film critic for newspapers and magazines, as a screenwriter, director, editor, and radio producer. He directed the films: "Snapshots from an Excursion" (short film, 1972), "Happy Birthday Hope" (TV movie, 1983), "The Children of Cronus" (from his own screenplay, 1984), "Deserter" (co-directed and co-written with Christos Voupouras, 1988), "Postcard" (1990), "Mirupafshim" (co-directed and co-written with Christos Voupouras, 1997).
