Sofia Daskalopoulou

Sophia Daskalopoulou is a social anthropologist and a professor in the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean. She has taught in the Department of Social Anthropology at the University of the Aegean, as well as at the Democritus University of Thrace and the Freie Universität Berlin. A founding member and the first president of the Society of Greek Anthropologists, she is also a member of the International Union of Anthropological and Ethnological Sciences (IUAES) and the American Anthropological Association (AAA).
