Nikolas Vernikos

Nikolas Vernikos is an emeritus professor of human ecology at the Department of Cultural Technology and Communication at the University of the Aegean (Mytilene). He has taught and participated in postgraduate seminars at universities in Paris 8 (Vincennes), Democritus University of Thrace, Schiller College, and Freie Universität Berlin, as well as in Izmir, Komotini, Istanbul, and Geneva. As an international civil servant, he has served at UNESCO. He is a lifetime member of the American Anthropological Association (AAA). He has published 14 books and a large number of articles both in print and online (websites www.archive.gr and www.academia.edu).
