Eleni Politou - Marmarinou

Eleni Politou-Marmarinou is a professor of Modern Greek Philology in the Department of Philology at the University of Athens. She is a founding member and has served as president of the Hellenic Society for General and Comparative Literature. Her research and teaching focus on 19th and 20th-century Greek literature, Comparative Philology, and Literary Theory. Her publications cover the works of significant Modern Greek authors, literary movements or genres, and topics in Poetics.
