Flora Manakidou

Flora P. Manakidou is a Professor of Ancient Greek Philology at the Democritus University of Thrace and teaches Greek culture at the Hellenic Open University. She specializes in archaic and Hellenistic poetry and the reception of antiquity. She has published the books "Beschreibung von Kunstwerken in der hellenistischen Dichtung" (Stuttgart 1992), "Strategies of the Odyssey" (Thessaloniki 2012), and contributed to the collective volumes "Mousaon Archometha" (Athens 2006) and "Alexandrian Muse" (Athens 2008, co-edited with K. Spanoudakis). Additionally, she published a book with a commented edition of the fifth hymn to Callimachus, "Eis Loutra Pallados" (Athens 2013).
