Katerina Maniadaki

Katerina Maniadaki is a psychologist and an Associate Professor of Developmental Psychopathology in the Department of Social Work at the Technological Educational Institute of Athens. She holds a Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology and Psychopathology from the University of Southampton in the UK. She also has a degree in Philosophy, Pedagogy, and Psychology from the University of Athens, a degree in Psychology (Maitrise) from Université Louis Pasteur-Strasbourg I, and a postgraduate degree (D.E.S.S.) in Child and Adolescent Psychology from Université René Descartes-Paris VIII. Since 1996, she has collaborated with the Psychological Center for Developmental and Learning Disabilities ARSI and has been its director since 2008. Her main focus is on the diagnosis and therapeutic treatment of children with developmental difficulties, as well as parental counseling and adolescent psychotherapy. Additionally, she is a co-author of four scientific books and co-editor of another on developmental psychopathology, which are used as textbooks in higher education. She has contributed ten chapters to collective volumes and has published numerous articles in Greek and international scientific journals. She serves as a reviewer for articles in fourteen journals and is on the editorial board of eight of them. She has delivered over one hundred presentations at Greek and international scientific conferences. Her written work has received more than 400 citations. She is fluent in English, French, and Spanish. She is a member of the Hellenic Psychological Society, the Panhellenic Psychological Association, and the American Psychological Association.
