Diamanti Anagnostopoulou

Diamanti Anagnostopoulou was born in Athens in 1958. She studied philology in Athens and modern and contemporary literature in France, where she completed her postgraduate studies and earned her doctoral degree (1985). She is an assistant professor in the Department of Preschool Education and Sciences at the University of the Aegean, where she teaches "Modern and Contemporary Greek Literature." Her research interests and publications focus on interwar poetry and prose, the dimension of otherness and the portrayal of women in literary texts, Greek and French surrealism, the process of mourning in folk songs, literary texts in primary education books, and literary reception in education. She is the author of four books and numerous articles published in Greek and French scientific and literary journals.
