CHristos A. Fragonikolopoulos

Christos A. Frangonikolopoulos is an Associate Professor of International Relations at the Department of Journalism and Mass Media at Aristotle University and holds the Jean Monnet Chair. He studied Politics and Governance and earned his Ph.D. in International Relations from the University of Kent in Canterbury (United Kingdom). He is the author of the books "The Global Role of Non-Governmental Organizations" (Sideris, 2007) and "The Democratization of Global Governance: An Introduction to Cosmopolitan Democracy" (Sideris, 2010). He has published more than 40 chapters in collective volumes and articles in journals such as Global Society (2005), The Round Table (1987), Paradigms (1995), Journal of Contemporary European Studies (2010), Journal of Media and Cultural Politics (2010), Political Science Review (2006), and Communication Issues (2008). He is also the co-editor of the book "Transnational Celebrity Activism: Changing the World?" (Intellect, 2011).
