Dionysis Koulentianos

Dionysis (Denis) Koulentianos was born in Piraeus to parents from Kythera. He published his first book of verses in 1956, followed by others up to the present day (2002), including poems, short stories, studies, reflections, and translations. His books of verses have also been published in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, German, and Esperanto. His independent verses have been translated into approximately 20 foreign languages and featured in international publications. His work is included in 40 anthologies in Greece and 20 in the USA, Italy, Belgium, France, England, India, China, Korea, and others. He has published the anthology "Modern Greek Poetry" in English, printed in 1998 in India on behalf of his co-publisher Dev Bhardwaj. D.K.'s biography is featured annually in the Greek WHO'S WHO by METRON publications, the international WHO'S WHO of Poetry, and the Cambridge Encyclopedia of Poets. He has also been appointed Honorary Research Advisor at the American Biographical Institute. His involvement with literary societies in various roles is well-known, as is his participation in their events. Additionally, he has served for years as Vice President of the International Society of United and Awarded Poets in the USA and is involved in many other international institutions, including academies, associations, and fraternities. Beyond literature, he has a keen interest in psychology, philosophy, religions, history, the environment, and humanity. His work has been honored with numerous Greek and international awards, including parchments, plaques, medals, and more. The reviews in magazines and newspapers regarding his intellectual contribution are countless, for an effort that continues to this day.
