Mairi Mike

Mary Mike is a professor in the Department of Philology at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She was born in Kavala in 1958 and studied Modern Greek Philology at the University of Thessaloniki. She has published the books "Literary Figures of Kavala," published by Enteuktirio, Thessaloniki 1990; "The Watch of Nikos Kavvadias. Illustrations and Transformations," Agra, Athens 1994; "Melpo Axioti. Critical Wanderings," Kedros, Athens 1996; "Melpo Axioti, Poems" (philological editing), Kedros, Athens 2001; "Disguises in Modern Greek Prose (19th-20th Century)," Kedros, Athens 2001, among others. Her studies, articles, and essays have been published in scientific journals, collective volumes, and conference proceedings.
