Pegy Fourka

Peggy Fourka began her professional career in illustration in 1994, while simultaneously studying design, color, and the art of iconography. Her love for children led her to the world of children's books. Since 1996, in collaboration with notable authors, she has brought to life and animated many children's books published by various publishing houses. She has also worked with the Pedagogical Institute to illustrate educational books for primary school children. In recent years, she has also ventured into writing children's books herself. Her son, George, plays a central role not only in her life but also in many of the books she writes and illustrates. In collaboration with the National Book Centre of Greece (EKEBI) and numerous publishing houses, she visits schools across Greece to share with children the secrets of illustration and the joy of creation.
