Kostis Vaitsos

Kostis Vaitsos, Professor Emeritus at the University of Athens, was appointed in 1975 as a Professor of Development Economics at the University of Sussex and as a Professorial Fellow at the Institute of Development Studies there. In 1979, he was appointed to the then First Chair of Political Economy at the University of Athens. He has served as a visiting professor at European universities and in other countries, and he completed his studies at Harvard and Yale Universities.
