Panos V. Kazakos

Panos Kazakos, born in 1941, is an emeritus professor at the University of Athens. He studied political science in Greece and economics in (West) Germany. He holds a doctorate from Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel. From 1996 to 2002, he directed the postgraduate program in European and International Studies. Among other roles, he has served as a senior expert at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and as research director at the Hellenic Center for European Studies. His study "Institutional Reforms in the European Union" (I. Sideris, 1996) was awarded by the Academy of Athens.
