Maria Kaila

Maria Kaila is a Professor of Psychopedagogy at the University of the Aegean, where she served as Vice-Rector (1997-2003). She was also the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Psychological Society (2003-2006). She is the Director of the Master's Program in "Environmental Education" and an elected member of the scientific and coordinating committees of the international networks Prelude - UNESCO Chair for sustainable development in environment, health, education, and Inruda (UCLA - Ben Gurion) for sustainability in developed and developing regions in connection with universities. She oversees scientific series, and her articles and book chapters have been published in Greek, French, English, and German, while her writings have also been translated into many other languages.
