
CHristos CHatziotis
Christos Chatziotis was born in Athens in June 1963 and a few weeks later moved to Thessaloniki, where he spent the first 16 years of his life. He attended the Anavryta Model School and the 1st High School of Kifisia, from which he graduated in 1981. He studied at the Dental School of the University of Athens and graduated in 1991. From September 1987 to May 1988, he worked at the gunsmith "HEPHAESTUS." In 1989, his first book, "200+1 Recipes for Cartridge Reloading," was published. From 1988 until September 1991, he worked as an editor for the magazine "Hunting and Shooting." In September 1991, he was drafted into the army and served in the land forces in Messolonghi, fulfilling the duties of a unit doctor. Shortly after his discharge, his second book, "The Hunter's Alphabet," was published by Diavlos Editions. From 1993 to 1996, he was a key contributor to the "Mountain Club" store in Kifisia, where, along with Dimitris Moschovitis, they acquired dealerships for Basque firearms. In 2001, his third book, "Reloading Recipes with Modern Powders," was released.
For over a decade, he has collaborated as a columnist on topics of weapon history and ballistics with the magazine "Hunter & Nature." Since late 2004, he has established and continues to maintain the first showroom for handmade firearms and custom knives in Melissia, under the name GUN & KNIFE Classics.
