Panagiotis Pantazis
Panagiotis Pantazis was born in 1982 in Athens, where he lives and paints, while also creating music under the name Pan Pan. He was a regular contributor to the magazine 9, and during the last five years of its publication, he released his first comic album, Common Comics #1 (Giganto, 2007). Since then, he has published over 20 works in collaboration with publishers such as Giganto, KΨM, Jemma, 9th Dimension, as well as through self-publishing. Since 2011, he has published more than 400 online comic strips in series on socomic.gr (Gabriel François’ Memories, Cherry Jam, and others). He was also a contributor to the magazine Blue Comet (Polaris) from its very first issue. His two most recent works are In the Secrets of the Swamp by Penelope Delta, written by Giannis Ragkos (Polaris, March 2018), and Days of Worship (script: Pantazis-Gousis, art: Pantazis, Polaris, September 2021). As a musician, he releases solo albums, composes music for dance performances and films, and is a member of the band Echo Tides. His most recent solo albums are Phantasmagoria Two and Phantasmagoria Three, featuring standout tracks such as “Hit Me Like a Current on the Dance Floor” and “Uneven Disco.”
