Growing up on the beautiful island of Samos, I often enjoyed playing with words, images, and ideas, creating stories. I studied Greek Philology in Greece and later completed postgraduate studies in Linguistics and Marketing abroad. For many years, I have been working in the fields of communication and marketing, where I continue to come up with new ideas and engage with words and images every day. I love art, history, travel, books in general—and children’s books even more. I have attended workshops and seminars on creative writing and on children’s and young adult literature, and my texts have been awarded by the Women’s Literary Society. The mother of Eftychis, the museum reporter, is my friend. We often visit museums together, trying to listen to what the statues and other exhibits have to tell us.
