THeodoros G. Oikonomou

Theodoros G. Oikonomou holds a Ph.D. in Administrative Science from the University of Athens and is a graduate of the National School of Public Administration. He also holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Athens. Since 1990, he has been an IT executive at the Ministry of the Interior. As a specialist scientist at the lecturer level, he has concurrently taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (2001 - 2004). He has also served for several years as a professor at the National School of Public Administration and in the IT Department of the Training Institute of the National Center for Public Administration. He has authored four books on administrative science and four books on informatics, two of which are taught in public high schools, one in public technical schools, and one in Merchant Marine Academies. Additionally, he has four publications in scientific journals and two in informational magazines. Finally, he has delivered numerous presentations at national and international scientific conferences on topics related to public administration and informatics.
