Takis Mendrakos

Takis Mendrakos was born in 1927 in Piraeus and has been living in Athens since 1941. He attended the Law School of the University of Athens but did not graduate, and he has been involved in literature since his adolescence. Since 1973, he has been permanently engaged in literary criticism. His articles, essays, and translations have been published in literary magazines and newspapers, and he has released sixteen books, primarily translations from English literature.
