Dimitris Sotakis

Dimitris Sotakis was born in Athens in 1973. He has published ten novels and one short story collection. His book "The Green Door" (2002) was nominated for the "Diavazo" magazine award. His novel "The Corn Man" was nominated for the Readers' Award of the National Book Centre of Greece (EKEBI) in 2007, as well as for the "Diavazo" magazine award. "The Miracle of Breathing" (2009) was honored with The Athens Prize for Literature by "(de)kata" magazine and was nominated for the European Union Prize for Literature and the Jean Monnet Prize in France. His books have been translated into French, Serbian, Turkish, Dutch, Italian, and Chinese.
